Sunrises and Service Shine Bright

Woke up every morning to breathtaking sunrises from my small balcony. The staff was exceptionally attentive, creating a warm atmosphere that made my stay memorable.

However, the walk to the hotel was a hassle with heavy bags, and the bathroom needed some updates as the toilet paper holder was broken.

The beach views from our balcony were breathtaking and

the atmosphere was so vibrant yet relaxed. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. However, the noise from the rooftop bar next door could be distracting in the afternoons.

staying at playa maya by mij, beachfront was a great experience. the location is perfect, right on the beach and a quick walk to downtown. the staff, especially pablo, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our stay was enjoyable. the beach area was clean, and the hotel provided nice amenities like umbrellas and chairs.

The ocean view is stunning, and the pool is a perfect spot to cool off after soaking up the sun. Only downside was that the breakfast took a bit longer to arrive, but it’s definitely worth a visit! 🌊

We enjoyed the beautiful beachside location, perfect for family fun. The kids loved the pool with varying depths, making it safe for them to play while we relaxed. Easy access to the maritime terminal made day trips to Cozumel a breeze!

In my wife’s opinion, the lack of simple amenities made our stay difficult. A more family-friendly approach—like better access to luggage and upgraded facilities—would significantly improve the experience.

Perfect Location and Friendly Staff

I had a fantastic stay at this beachfront hotel. The location was excellent, just a quick walk to 5th Avenue, while still being peaceful enough to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Cristina at the front desk, who was always ready to assist with a smile. The only downside was the lack of a hot water option. it would be great if they could address that.

This hotel suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, a restaurant, and a lovely outdoor pool. I'll never forget how the staff helped me find my lost bracelet during my first stay. It's these memories that keep me coming back for a weekend!

Nice beachfront space with direct access to the sand. The outdoor lounge area provides a good spot to relax. The connectivity to local attractions is fantastic, making it easy to walk to restaurants and shops.

The beach area, though close, suffers from sargassum and sharp rocks, making swimming a little tricky. The pool wasn't very inviting, appearing murky and unkempt, and the men's bathroom by the restaurant was out of order, which left only the women's available. Finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge since the entrance required wandering through another property first.

I loved the beautiful beachfront and the friendly staff who made me feel at home. The decor was charming, and the comfortable lounges provided a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the ocean view.

A coffee maker in the room would be appreciated.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, great location, with a clean atmosphere and a secure in-room safe, which made our stay enjoyable, along with easy access to the beach just steps away.

The staff made our stay unforgettable, especially with the delicious breakfasts featuring organic eggs. Also, the beach access provided a unique experience, although we had to navigate through the other hotel's guests. I'd choose this place again!
